Currently, I am reading a novel, a digital novel actually, which was written by Cornelia Funke by the title Ink Heart. I believe you’ve never heard of her or her book before but I can assure you, it’s a great book. Well, I haven’t finished it. As a matter of fact, I’ve just reached the first few chapters.
For those who know me, that might sounds like a bad thing. I have the tendency to finish a book as fast as I can if I enjoy the book. But, the only reason why I’m quite slow reading this book is because I simply don’t have the time. Not that I use all my time for more important constructive things. I really do enjoy this book; I was even captivated by only the first sentences.
Personally, what I find really amazing about this book is the way the author tells us the story. It is set in a quite modern world like the world we live in but it reads like an entirely different world. There are things like cars, policemen, cell phones and flashlights but they seem like minor details to this world. Ever so often, I thought that I was reading a story that was set in medieval time. Of course there are things like a weird creature and poetic fantasy names such as Silvertongue, Dustfinger and Capricon that build up the medieval-like sensation.
I was reminded of Harry Potter and LOTR when I read this book. Well, I believe eventually it will turn out to be such a book. I’ll let you know more when I have finished reading it.
Anyway, this book tells a story about a young girl by the name Meggie. She’s quite a bookworm and she loves books a lot which she inherited from her father. Her normal life is disturbed by a sudden visit by a mysterious man in the middle of a rainy midnight. From here on, she has to leave her house and embark on a journey to unravel all bizarre mysterious things that out of the blue pour down onto her life endlessly. Okay, I won’t spoil the story anymore as I want to continue reading this book. If you are interested in a digital copy of this book, do let me know.

Ah....Finally I've got a class in which the students are new. Felt like being a new teacher all over again. It's quite refreshing actually. Especially after spending the last few terms teaching students who I had taught more than once. It's not like they weren't nice. As a matter of fact, they were quite close to me. Some of them even like a friend to me. But, it was just quite boring. Maybe what I need is a change.

Now that, I have a new class again, I'm quite happy. They're also quite nice. I hope this term will be exciting. I have plenty of new ideas to do with this class.

Here comes The Lone Ranger . . .

Check this one out...
There is going to be a Lone Ranger movie. Yay....

What? You're asking me who Lone Ranger is? Where were you, dude? The Lone Ranger and his pal Tonto were like the coolest characters played in local TV when I was a child. I can hardly wait for this movie. Hopefully, they cast good actors and actresses also good horses. C'mon, what's a cowboy movie without horses? Well, at the very least it has good writers.

Glass Heart

There was a heart
A nothing but ordinary heart
...

There was a heart
A nothing but ordinary heart
Then came Cupid who had had his day
An arrow he took and a shot he released
Thus the heart became
A fragile yet beautiful glass heart

Thousands of eyes came rushing for the beauty
But no one could behold the beauty inside
As another heart it had belonged to

But then came a day
when the arrow was removed
And no one was surprised
that the heart was shattered
For love it had been in
and a scar was all it left behind with
So deep the scar was and curable it wasn't
unless by another arrow of love.

The very first post . . .

Well, I never really planned to make my own blog. I started using blogspot to make a blog for the school where I worked. I've long dreamed of making the school, K-elt, into a more fun place. I know that most of the students go to Kelt only for the sake of making friends, so, I thought, why don't we make Kelt students as a community instead?
Thus, I started proposing for an online site where students can share their feeling and experiences without being scolded by their teacher. I managed to get it done at www.kelt-blog@blogspot.com. While customizing Kelt's blog, I was absorbed in doing it and started making my own blog. Basically, I made my own blog since there were things I simply couldn't do with the school's blog. For instance, using this Mario Bros template which I childishly love.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy posting comments here at my blog as well as giving me loads of inputs and critics. As for now, I still have no idea what I'm going to do with my blog. I just want to have some fun. The long and short of it, que sera sera.

Ray
